Folding a Shirt ~ Japanese Style

A couple weeks ago I went to my lil brother's apartment to pay him a visit. When I walk into his room there are shirts everywhere and in the middle is my little brother with a crazy excited expression.

ME:  "What the hell are you doing?"
HIM: "You HAVE to see this....
ME:  "What is it??"
HIM: "Just come see."
ME: "NO, it looks stupid"  (Yes I could be bitchy at times)
HIM: "Just come, its some freaking amazing technique the Japanese use to fold clothes"

JAPANESE???
Yes people after hearing the words "Japanese" did my attitude make a complete 180.
I became SUPER INTRIGUED

This is exactly what he did

YES, I WAS THAT SHOCKED!

WHERE THE HELL HAS THIS SHIT BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE???

Do you know how many times I hid my clothes under my bed just to avoid folding them?

I remember the good ole days when my mom would do laundry, fold my clothes nicely and neatly store them away. At age 7 or 8, I remember still having my laundry done and folded neatly for me, all I had to do was put them away, which I also didn't want to do. (I also hated doing that and would hide my clothes under my bed along w/ dirty clothes that were also hidden there because I was too lazy to put them in the laundry basket O_o)
All of a sudden I hit teenager and I have to do MY OWN LAUNDRY...

WHAT MADE THIS WORSE..IT WASN'T JUST MY DAMN LAUNDRY...BUT THE WHOLE FREAKING FAM BAM!!
WHAT THE HELL!

Its soo funny as I kid I use to be so envious of anyone who had to wash the dishes. I hated hearing people complain. I couldn't comprehend what the hell they were complaining about.

THAT SHIT LOOKED FUN!

You got to play in water and mess around with soap...ooohhhhhh. What could be better than that?
Everytime I tried to wash the dishes I would get in trouble, until one day everything changed and washing the dishes became a REQUIREMENT for me!!!

I later realized washing the dishes is not fun, especially for a famiily of 8!

The same thing happened w/ ironing, and cleaning my shoes. It looked so fun and it was, until the day my parents realized I was capable of such a task.

ADVICE: DO NOT let your parents know what chores you are capable of or else you would be force to do it.

ANYWAY,
BACK TO JAPANESE FOLDING

Approximately 30 seconds after I got over my WTF moment, I was literally on the floor folding anything I could get my hands. Sadly, it only seems to work on shirts :-(

DUHH!!!

I actually enjoy folding now. I'm thinking of quitting my job and starting my own company in folding shirts.

CHERIMI
The folding shirt company

Okay Okay I dont enjoy folding shirts that much, but I must admit folding shirts using this method has been saving me sometime.

Just try it

Well I'll leave you all with this little video.
