Not So Recent Bleach and Naruto Episodes

Hey all, so I've finally got caught up on all episodes of Bleach and Naruto. I have been sooo behind for oh so long. I was about 20-25 eps behind, which means I haven't watched in months! To catch up on approximately 50 episodes, I practically pulled all nighters on Friday and Saturday night. I started w/ Bleach and then finished off w/ Naruto.

Well, well, well, I must start off by saying that Zanpakuto storyline w/ Muramasa was one of the longest fillers ever. For a moment I thought I was watching Naruto. In the beginning I thought the storyline was actually pretty creative and I was really into it. The Zanpakuto rebellion was enticing and I really think it should not have been a filler and just part of the regular storyline. Finding out Muramasa was actually a Zanpakuto himself who was also fighting his own inner demons (literally), added w/ his master being part of the Kuchiki noble family was the cherry on top the sundae for me!  But a good thing always comes to an end right? They began dragging the story on and on and on. Kouga (Muramasa's Shinigami), was awakened by Muramasa, who in return is immediately stabbed and betrayed by Kouga. This is because Kouga believes he was betrayed by Muramasa before he was sealed away, (Kouga please get over yourself, its been years come on now..the fact that your Shinigami even went through all this trouble to awake your ass should give you something to be thankful for).
Kouga before being sealed away. Totally obvious hes a Kuchiki.
Check the plate in his hair, and strong features lol.
Kouga after being awakened. Damn!! I thought years of rest
was good for you! And who stole his hair clip? lol

Anyway, Kouga insists on fighting Byakuya and in the end gets his ass beat. (No shock there).
Kouga then calls on Muramasa for help in his battle but like the incident that happened many years ago, Muramasa cannot hear his pleas for help for their bond has already been broken.

Meanwhile Ichigo is playing Dr.Phil trying to talk some sense into Muramasa. There isn't any point in fighting now that Kouga is dead. Long story short, therapist Ichigo words gets to Muramasa, who happily disappears to who knows where.

Byakuya vs Kouga

Muramasa

His goal wasn't to  "free all Zapakuto from their enslavement of the Shinigami" but "to help communication between Shinigami or Zanpakuto".

*Sniff* I know so sad. *Sarcasm* lol
Sorry to make you all relive this story, but they drag it on even more!

Zanpakuto remained in their human forms well soul society hunt down "Sword Fiends".

You know what I think of fillers?

Okay, what I'm about to say its gonna sound really lame and you're probably gonna think I'm a punk, emotional wreck and a pussy but oh well..lol

Lately, I've been crying for almost every Naruto ep! -_- Okay well not every but a couple. The reason why this is so surprising is because I never cry. Okay I take it back I do cry but it really takes alot for me to cry. I am a girl but crying is not something I do on  regular basis not even to get what I want.

I've just been feeling all these damn emotions in these past recent episodes. I'm not pregnant, I'm not sick its just that Naruto depicts love, friendship, hope etc so damn well. Its beautifully portrayed and it really makes me feel like I'm actually part of the Konoha village. That sounds lame and corny huh? I know you dont even have to tell me.

But seriously, Naruto is such a kind hearted and loving person, especially having to experience the hardships he faced in life. Even after being isolated from the village and being told he would never amount to anything he never once gave up. He always said he would become Hokage and become the best. He's always said he would do his best to bring peace to the ninja world. His determination and work ethic really astonishes me. His loyalty and patriotism to his village, the same village that treated him like dirt

I could honestly say this and mean it..

I want to be just like Naruto Uzumaki when I grow up

I want to embody all the principles he stands for and portray it in my own life. To be as hardworking and dedicated like he is. To show love, appreciation and kindheartedness even to those that don't deserve it. To be able to help people even if you dont know them. To learn to trust and believe in peoples words even though you've been lied to before. To have goals and work your ass off to achieve them. In other words be the best person you could be, regardless of who shuts you down or turns you away, regardless of who criticizes you and wishes evil your way. He really shows me that just being yourself and standing up for what you believe in really does mean something. I know its just an anime and I may be reading too deep into it..but when I watch it that is what I see, that is how I feel, and I am seeing it more and more in these last few episodes. And if Naruto could do it then I definitely could do it... Dattebayo!!

Okay enough of that.....

I really wanted to go in dept about how kick ass Pain (Nagato) and Aizen is but this post is alreadii so long and I've been meaning to post it for weeks...now I must change de title to: Not so recent eps of Bleach and Naruto.... Aizen and Pain need their own post anyway. They are just too damn cool for skool...

Anyway I'm out...

Recent Bleach and Naruto Episodes

Just got caught up on Bleach and Naruto episodes. I know I know, should have done that a while ago.

So, as you all know Bleach started fillers right smack in the middle of battle. Like a lot of you I was pissed but oh well. Now the first couple of fillers shocked me, (Episodes 227, 228, and 229) to be exact. I hate fillers but I've always been an advocate for Bleach fillers, but those 3 episodes were so below their usual standards. I mean, it was nice to hear the thoughts of Mizuiro in episode 227 but overall it wasn't really doing it for me. This episode was then followed up by the "Summer! Sea! Swimsuit Festival!" episode. *Sigh*, I live for fight scenes and the one in the episode was pretty weak. They portrayed Matsumoto as a weakling..in my opinion, but I have to admit it was cute seeing Kuchiki without his metal plates in his hair and with a more relaxing attitude. He was so into his sand creation (can't remember exactly what he was building). Then there was the Ikkaku filler, with him getting a wig glued on to distract Keiko's sister. Hmmn....no comment.

Then suddenly, the sun shone, the birds sang, and God smiled down upon me saying "Thou art must have better Bleach fillers!" Thus Episode 230 came into being. I love the whole "Independent Zanpakuto" storyline. The fight scenes are also amazing and up to par. These are the fillers I remember seeing from Bleach. Fillers that I could actually sit and enjoy, while I patiently await for the original storyline to return.

Anyway, next Bleach episodes are supposedly scheduled to air:
Bleach Episode 233 : Zangetsu Becomes an Enemy : Aug 18th, 2009 (TODAY!)
Bleach Episode 234 : Renji Surprised?! The Two Zabimarus : Aug 25th, 2009
Bleach Episode 235 : Clash! Hisagi vs. Kazeshini : Sep 1st, 2009
Bleach Episode 236 : Release! The New Getsuga Tenshou : Sep 8th, 2009

I actually have no complaints about the Naruto storyline at the moment. One recent episode that have been stuck in my mind is the "Kakashi's Gaiden - The Battlefield of a Boy's Life!". This episode was basically about how Kakashi got his famous Sharigan eye. If you're a manga reader, then you know that this is no news to us, this chapter was already written a while ago. I must admit it was nice watching young Kakashi interactions with the 4th and his teammates, but so sad to see his teammate get crushed the way he did. But thanks to him we have the Kakashi we love today, along with his special gift that compliments "Chidori"!

Well not much else to say about Naruto, so here are the supposed air dates
Naruto Shippuden Episode 123 : Clash : Aug 20th, 2009
Naruto Shippuden Episode 124 : Art : Aug 27th, 2009
Naruto Shippuden Episode 125 : Disappearance : Sep 3rd, 2009
Naruto Shippuden Episode 126 : Dusk : Sep 10th, 2009

*Don't hold me to these dates people*
